My name is Richard and I’m a Mexican-American cinematographer and photographer based in Los Angeles. I’ve been shooting for more than 15 years and I love it. I love creating images, collaborating with great people, and finding myself in places and experiences that I could have never imagined. Curiosity, empathy, and a good laugh are what drive me and I consider myself incredibly lucky to get to do work that lets me experience all three.

Throughout my career I’ve worked across advertising, branded content, documentaries, narrative films, music videos, photo campaigns, photo essays, and more. I am also the co-founder of Chico Studio, a production company and commercial directing partnership founded in 2021.
